Four +/+ and two C57BL/6 mice analyzed in this group.
H&E-stained liver sections were prepared from mice infected with MCMV for 3 d. The number of mice analyzed for each group is indicated. Viral titers (± SD) and the number of inflammatory foci (± SD) per liver area was determined and expressed as described in Materials and Methods.
